Empowering You On Your Professional Journey

Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” – Helen Keller

Support Groups for Mental Health Professionals

At Serenity Soul Care, we offer specialized support groups tailored to the needs of both students in their internship phase new graduates and provisionally licensed professionals. Our groups are designed to provide a supportive environment where participants grow together.

Student Interns

We have a dedicated support group for students who are in the practicum and internship phase of their master's programs.

This group is designed to assist and provide a safe space for students as they start their journey.

New Professionals

This group was created by a new professional for new professionals. It provides a space where we can come together to assist each other as we navigate the early stages of our careers in the mental health profession

Here's what our group members say

"Being part of this intern support group has helped me realize that I don’t have to follow the same path as everyone else, and that it’s okay to not want to work in a particular setting. This space has encouraged me to reflect on what truly aligns with me professionally while also teaching me the importance of professional boundaries and identifying the populations I feel most called and equipped to work with."

-Jordin. O

I found the aspects of our group most helpful because of the strong sense of community, the collective feeling of 'we're in this together,' and the authenticity of the group members.”

- Nicole. F

I would say one of the most helpful aspects was simply having a support group in general. Being able to connect, discuss experiences, and collaborate with fellow women who are on the same professional journey created a sense of community and encouragement. I also found the shared resources and different perspectives incredibly valuable, as they helped me feel more supported, informed, and confident in navigating my own path.

- Edlourde. D

I found our group most helpful because the atmosphere set was one that was intentional on being open and transparent, inviting and entertaining as well. I feel like it is important to have an atmosphere that allows for love and warmth to be felt, but not at risk of compromising the need and purpose for the group

Mentorship Program

As part of our commitment to professional development, Serenity Soul Care offers a mentorship program for members of our support groups.

This program connects students, new professionals, and fully licensed experts within our community. To participate, individuals must first be involved in our support groups, where they can engage with mentors who provide valuable insights and guidance.
