How to Apply

Joining the program is easy! Whether you’re applying as a mentor or a mentee, follow these simple steps:

  1. Mentees: Fill out the Intern Support Group application on our website. As a mentee, you must be a part of our intern support group to ensure everything stays organized. This is a fantastic opportunity for interns to gain mentorship while building their careers.

  2. Mentors: If you're an experienced professional, we invite you to apply as a mentor! Simply click the Become a Mentor.

What to Expect: Important Dates & Program Structure

Our mentorship program is designed to be flexible, structured, and supportive. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Weekly One-on-One Meetings: Mentors and mentees are encouraged to meet weekly. These sessions can take place virtually (Zoom, Facetime, etc.) or in person—whatever works best for both parties. These meetings will be a time to discuss progress, challenges, goals, and provide emotional support.

  • Monthly Intern Support Group: Every second Sunday of the month, we gather for a Zoom meeting designed to allow mentees to connect, share experiences, and receive guidance. While I typically host these meetings, mentors are welcome to join as well to offer support.

  • Monthly Mentor Roundtable: Once a month, mentors will gather for a collaborative roundtable discussion. This is an opportunity to share best practices, learn from one another, and continue developing mentorship skills.

What Are the Next Steps?

  1. Complete the Application: Head to our website to complete the application form. We’ll use this information to pair mentors and mentees based on your experience and interests.

  2. Stay Engaged: Keep an eye on our website for updates, and be sure to follow us on Instagram and subscribe to our newsletter for the latest news.

  3. Think About Your Goals: If you’re a mentee, take some time to think about the goals and areas you’d like to work on with your mentor. The more specific you are, the more productive your sessions will be.
